I teach functional programming, data design, web application development, and SQL. I believe in mastery of the technical to enable informed mastery of theory.

Research

My research interests include narrative cognition and artificial intelligence, as well as linguistic and non-linguistic forms of narrative. I also research system theory and computer programs as narrative systems.

Service

Technical work is most prevalent in industry, but the unique benefit of university service is the opportunity to extend work to the varied needs of students and faculty.
